Smell is the only sense with a direct line to the brain's memory center, which is why a fragrance can return you to a specific afternoon, years later, faster and more completely than a photograph. This is also why the fragrance you wear becomes, over time, inseparable from how people remember you. Long after a conversation is forgotten, the scent that was in the room often is not. We think about this at every stage of building ONYU Scentique — not just what a fragrance smells like today, but what it will mean to someone a decade from now, worn on an ordinary Tuesday that becomes, in hindsight, a day worth remembering.
